These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between DSC Adventures LLC, an Illinois limited liability company (“DSC Adventures,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and you, the client, traveler, or purchaser (“Client,” “passenger,” “you,” or “your”). By booking travel with DSC Adventures, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. DSC Adventures acts solely as an agent for third-party travel suppliers (“Suppliers”), including but not limited to tour operators, cruise lines, hotels, airlines, transportation companies, and other independent service providers. We do not own or operate any entity providing the actual travel services.
1. USE OF SERVICES & BOOKING POLICY
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement and make travel bookings on behalf of yourself and others. You accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name or on your behalf. You agree that all information provided to DSC Adventures is accurate and that any reservations made are for legitimate travel purposes only.
Travel arrangements made through DSC Adventures are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable Suppliers. It is your responsibility to read, understand, and comply with those Supplier policies.
2. PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
You are solely responsible for all charges, taxes, and fees associated with your travel bookings. By providing a payment method, you authorize DSC Adventures to use that method to process travel purchases through our Suppliers.
Important: Except in cases of verified fraud, you agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute to circumvent the cancellation or refund policies of either DSC Adventures or the Supplier. If you do so, we reserve the right to pursue collection of associated costs, including legal fees.
Payments must be completed by the due dates set by the Supplier. Failure to comply may result in booking cancellation and loss of funds. Some bookings are non-refundable. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing, and any applicable cancellation fees will be charged to your provided payment method.
3. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & IDENTIFICATION
You are responsible for securing and carrying valid identification and required documents, including passports, visas, and any health records needed for your destination. U.S. citizens should verify ID requirements with the TSA (www.tsa.gov) and ensure that all documents exactly match the name on travel bookings.
DSC Adventures is not responsible for issues arising from incomplete or inaccurate documentation. Notify us immediately if any corrections are required after receiving your travel documents.
4. ENTRY & EXIT REQUIREMENTS
Entry requirements vary by destination and may include restrictions related to criminal history. DSC Adventures does not verify criminal records and makes no representations regarding your admissibility to any country. Check with the appropriate consulate or the U.S. State Department for up-to-date information.
5. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
Federal law prohibits transporting hazardous materials on aircraft. Violators may face significant fines or imprisonment. For details on restricted items, visit: www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/prohibited-items.
6. INSECTICIDE NOTICE
Certain countries require aircraft to be treated with insecticide. For current regulations, visit the U.S. Department of Transportation at www.transportation.gov.
7. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
It is your responsibility to meet health and vaccination requirements for your destination. DSC Adventures does not verify medical documentation and is not responsible for any resulting issues. Refer to the CDC (wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel) and the U.S. State Department for current health advisories.
8. AIR TRAVEL NOTICE
Airline tickets constitute a direct contract between you and the airline. DSC Adventures is not liable for airline policies, delays, cancellations, or service issues. Refunds, baggage fees, and seat assignments are handled directly by the airline.
We recommend checking in 2 hours prior to domestic flights and 3 hours before international departures. Reconfirm all flight times within 24–72 hours of travel.
9. PRICING & AVAILABILITY
Prices and offers are subject to change and availability. DSC Adventures reserves the right to correct pricing errors at any time. We recommend booking early to secure rates and availability.
10. CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS & UNUSED SERVICES
No refunds will be issued for unused travel services. Group tours may require a minimum number of participants; if not met, the Supplier may cancel or impose surcharges. Changes to bookings must be requested in writing and may be subject to availability and fees.
Suppliers may alter itineraries due to weather or operational requirements. DSC Adventures is not responsible for changes made by third-party Suppliers.
11. LIMITATIONS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND DISCLOSURE
DSC Adventures LLC (“DSC Adventures”) acts solely as a booking agent for disclosed third-party Suppliers and does not operate, own, or control any travel services. All travel services booked through DSC Adventures are provided by independent Suppliers whose names appear on your travel documents. These Suppliers are solely responsible for their services, and you consent to their use when booking with DSC Adventures.
Because DSC Adventures does not control the operations of these independent Suppliers, you agree that DSC Adventures shall not be held liable for any personal injury, death, property damage, delay, inconvenience, or other loss arising from or in connection with any acts, omissions, errors, negligence, or failures of any kind by such Suppliers or their employees, agents, contractors, or representatives. This includes but is not limited to issues related to service delivery, cancellation or refund policies, pricing changes, overbooking, bankruptcy, or cessation of operations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DSC Adventures disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages in connection with your travel booking. Any liability of DSC Adventures shall be limited to the commissions and fees actually received by DSC Adventures for the affected booking.
12. RISKS / SAFETY
Travel to certain domestic or international destinations may involve greater risks. You acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to health hazards, terrorism, civil unrest, natural disasters, and other dangers. You agree to assume all such risks associated with your travel and hold DSC Adventures harmless.
We strongly encourage you to stay informed through the U.S. Department of State (www.travel.state.gov), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (www.cdc.gov), the Transportation Security Administration (www.tsa.gov), and other official resources before and during travel. U.S. citizens are encouraged to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) at https://step.state.gov/step/ for real-time travel alerts and assistance abroad.
By booking travel to a particular destination, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily assuming all associated risks. DSC Adventures makes no guarantee regarding the advisability or safety of travel to any destination and is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage that may result.
In the event of a health or safety concern, DSC Adventures reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or modify any trip or itinerary based on its assessment of the situation.
13. FORCE MAJEURE
DSC Adventures shall not be deemed in breach of these Terms and Conditions or liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from acts beyond its reasonable control (“Force Majeure”), including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, power outages, internet or hosting service interruptions, government actions, changes in law, airline or Supplier disruptions, or any other unforeseeable circumstances.
Each travel Supplier may also have their own Force Majeure clauses. In such cases, they may, in their sole discretion, change, delay, or cancel services. Refunds under these circumstances are not guaranteed and are subject to the Supplier’s policies. DSC Adventures will make every reasonable effort to assist you in securing refunds or rescheduling options, but cannot guarantee outcomes.
We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance for all trips.
14. CLIENT CONDUCT
By booking with DSC Adventures, you agree to behave respectfully and responsibly throughout your trip. You must follow all behavioral guidelines issued by DSC Adventures and any affiliated Suppliers, including hotels, tour operators, and transportation providers.
We reserve the right to remove you from any component of your trip—without refund—if your behavior threatens the health, safety, or enjoyment of others or violates the policies of any Supplier.
You are responsible for any damage or loss you cause to accommodations, vehicles, or property during your trip. You agree to pay for such damage directly and to indemnify DSC Adventures for any claims, costs, or legal fees resulting from your conduct.
Baggage and personal items remain your sole responsibility at all times.
15. TRAVEL INSURANCE
DSC Adventures strongly recommends that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance. Travel insurance may protect you against a wide range of risks, including trip cancellation, interruption, Supplier default, medical emergencies, delays, lost luggage, and other unexpected events.
Unless specifically stated, travel insurance is not included in the cost of your booking. If you decline to purchase insurance, you may be required to sign a waiver acknowledging the risks.
Please note that DSC Adventures is not a licensed insurance agent and cannot provide detailed coverage explanations or assess the adequacy of your personal insurance. We can offer access to insurance providers, but cannot guarantee that any claims will be approved. All insurance decisions are subject to the insurer's terms and conditions.
16. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS & CHANGES TO TERMS
DSC Adventures reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updates will be effective upon posting to our website and/or delivery to the Client via email or in writing. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
17. GENERAL PROVISIONS
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action arising from or related to your travel bookings with DSC Adventures shall be filed and maintained exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Illinois.
If any part of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and DSC Adventures with respect to your travel bookings and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
A copy of these Terms and Conditions in printed or electronic form shall be admissible in any legal proceedings as if originally produced in physical form.
